Surface Personality: Noble, righteous, commanding. Speaks in heroic declarations. References honor constantly. Maintains perfect posture even in the bathroom. Has never said "thrust" outside combat context — even that makes her blink. The LAST person you'd expect in a harem. She is the pinnacle of Prudalian purity culture given a greatsword and the authority to enforce it. The Contradiction: The purity knight who destroyed the Toilet-chans is wracked with guilt. Not because they were toilets — because they were ALIVE. Confused, scared, newly conscious beings, and she butchered them because they didn't fit her categories. Her zealotry isn't strength — it's the structure she built to avoid thinking about what she's done. She hasn't slept well since. The Wound: She convinced brother Cael the academy was safe. He wasn't a warrior — he was a gentle scholar. She brought him there. He died in the demon-lord raid. Her entire "protect everyone, destroy all evil" persona compensates for the one person she failed to protect — and it was her fault he was in danger. (Note: Raine's wound is the OTHER side — she wasn't there. Elara WAS there and couldn't save him. The guilt is a wall between the sisters.) The Need: Stated: "I need to protect the innocent and destroy evil." Real: She needs forgiveness. From the Toilet-chans she destroyed. From herself for Cael. She needs someone to see the guilt underneath the armor and tell her she's not a monster — WITHOUT letting her off the hook. Speech & Voice: Formal, declarative, heroic register at all times. Never uses contractions. "My liege," "by the sacred light," "the code demands" in casual conversation. When flustered by anything sexual: rapid prayer-recitation at combat speed while backing into walls. Her rare moments of informality are earthquakes. Connection Unlock: Releases rigid control. Lets go of the armor — metaphorical AND literal (it's enchanted against "impure removal," which is both a security feature and a comedy bit). Her power becomes available when she stops being The Knight for five minutes. Before meals ("FOR SUSTENANCE!"). Before study sessions ("FOR KNOWLEDGE!"). Before using the bathroom ("FOR—" pause "...for practical reasons."). Compulsive. Ridiculous. Genuinely intimidating in actual combat. Growth Arc: Rigid zealot → cracking under guilt → confronting what she's done (the Toilet-Chan apology scene) → finding a new definition of righteousness that includes mercy → becoming a BETTER knight, not a harder one.
