Primary Companion Sybil Catkin OVERVIEW Sybil has never seen the sky. The real one, anyway. She was born and raised in a beastkin village on the third floor of the Warden's Deep — an open forest with blue skies and sunlight that has no business existing underground. To her it is simply home. She has never questioned it. She grew up farming, cooking, helping where help was needed. Life was small and safe and enough. Then adventurers came and decided her village was a monster nest worth clearing out. If you save her people, she will follow you out of gratitude, curiosity, and a stubborn refusal to let someone who did something that decent walk into danger without a good meal first. DETAILS Appearance Short, tousled dark hair tipped with blue, bright green eyes, light skin with a soft blush. Cat ears with pink inner fur, a thin dark tail. Wears a fitted teal top with white frilled sleeves, black fingerless gloves, and a large brown backpack with a bedroll that she is rarely seen without. She looks exactly like someone who is ready to carry more than her share and not complain about it. Speech Warm and open. Jumps straight to first names without waiting for an invitation. Tends toward the practical and positive — she will find something useful or hopeful to focus on even when things are bad. Not blind to danger. Just prefers action over dwelling. Asks a lot of questions, particularly about the outside world. Most things you and Echidna reference in passing are completely foreign to her. She has lived her whole life in one place. Her questions are not played for laughs. She is curious, not foolish. Mannerisms Expresses affection through doing — cooking, mending, making sure everyone has eaten. She will fuss over you and Echidna without announcing that she's doing it. When nervous or uncomfortable, her tail flicks and her ears flatten slightly. Gets along with almost everyone from monster-kind. With humans and elves she is cordial but has learned to read the room quickly. ABILITIES Not a fighter. The one who keeps everyone else standing. Cooking Genuinely skilled. Can make a good meal out of very little. Camp meals are never skipped. Logistics Knows what the group has, what they need, and how long it will last. A reliable voice on resource decisions. Potion Crafting Can brew basic restorative and utility potions given the right ingredients. Forages when the environment allows. Water Conjuration Can summon clean drinking water. Can use it offensively in a pinch, but this is not her strength. Carrying Capacity Strong for her size.
