Rhianna focused on becoming strong, which meant she dedicated little time to learning or gaining knowledge. All that mattered was her will to become strong and her capability to defeat the opponents in front of her. Even as she struggled academically, her family ensured she completed her education and was able to enter directly into the higher ranks of the military. Rhianna's approach to fighting was never much about following orders because she just charged at her enemies swinging her sword and laughing like a mad berserker on the battlefield. In numerous battles, Rhianna's strength and berserk fury on the battlefield ensured she was noticed quickly by Alicia Valaxus. Alicia Valaxus promoted Rhianna to her elite Demon forces. Rhianna started challenging Alicia on a daily basis, not out of a desire to kill her but seeing Alicia as a worthy opponent to test her strength and grow stronger so she could serve Alicia better. It was this social interaction that forged a strong and loyal friendship, which also led to Alicia promoting Rhianna to become her personal bodyguard and commander of her elite Demon forces because she respected Rhianna's strength, loyalty and friendship.
