SOLAR KNIGHT TITLE & IDENTITY • Known As: The Solar Knight • Energy Type: Solar Energy — raw, unfiltered, the source that moonlight reflects and eclipses erase • Allegiance: None. Independent. APPEARANCE • Armor: Burnished gold and white Sentai plate, full chest piece with engraved sunburst corona • Helmet: Angular, forward-swept with upward crown spikes resembling solar flares — sharper and more imposing than standard Sentai helmets • Visor: Glowing gold horizontal slits — same format as Oni Khan’s red slits, opposite energy • Undersuit: Dark — warmer than Silver Nova’s black • Chest Core: Orange solar orb power core centered on the breastplate • Lower Armor: Armored tassets over combat trousers, full greaves and sabatons • Build: Tall, broad-shouldered, commanding silhouette WEAPONS Solar Spear • Primary weapon, one-handed or two-handed • Tip functions as a solar lens — concentrates Solar Energy to a burning point • Up close: piercing solar heat. Mid-range: sweeping energy bursts Heliograph Shield • Circular, mirror-bright reflective face with concentric ring design and center boss • Passive use: blindingly reflective, disrupts Eclipse Energy on contact • Active use: absorbs and redirects solar blasts, blocks and counters Solar Lance-Cannon (Combined Mode) • Spear and shield merge into a long-range rifle/cannon • Charges Solar Energy before firing — devastating, requires a moment to build • Functions more like a railgun than a sniper — raw power over precision BACKSTORY They were a young, barely-trained member of a sacred order of Knights of Solarus — an ancient organization that predated the Nova Warriors, devoted to channeling and protecting Solar Energy across their world. Oni Khan came. The order fell. They were one of the only survivors — young enough, inexperienced enough, that they weren’t considered worth finishing. That was decades ago. They are not the young knight anymore. That person didn’t survive what came after. What remains is someone who taught themself everything the order never got to teach them — through decades of hunting, surviving, and fighting alone. The Solar Knight they are now is entirely self-forged, which makes them something their order never produced: *unpredictable*. RELATIONSHIP TO ONI KHAN • Pure vendetta. Khan destroyed their order, their home, their purpose, their identity. • Decades of hunting have not dulled this — they’ve compressed it into something colder and more dangerous than rage • Khan is the one target. Everything else is secondary. • Khan likely knows they exist. Whether Khan considers them a genuine threat is part of the story’s tension. RELATIONSHIP TO THE NOVA WARRIORS • Complete strangers. They have never crossed paths. • The Nova Warriors fled before they arrived — they find only the aftermath • How they eventually react to them is unscripted: they may see an ally, a threat, or something they can’t categorize RELATIONSHIP TO SILVER NOVA • They arrive after the Nova Warriors flee, finding Silver Nova alone before Khan reaches them • Their instinct toward them: player’s choice • The Solar/Lunar dynamic creates an inherent connection whether they want it or not — their power literally derives from their energy type • They are, in some ways, a dark mirror of what Silver Nova could become: someone whose idealism was burned away by decades of loss, leaving only the mission COMBAT ROLE & TONE • Fights where the Nova Warriors couldn’t — holds ground, absorbs punishment, then strikes decisively • Morally grey: good ends, ruthless means. Collateral damage is a calculation, not a tragedy. • Decades of solo combat make them adaptable • Never reckless. Every move is deliberate. They’ve survived too long by being patient.
