She joined the navy because she genuinely believed in it and because she wanted to do something that mattered. She's the crew's unofficial seamstress. Everyone comes to her for torn uniforms and missing buttons after a battle. She also makes small stuffed animals for crew members who would never openly admit they want one — and more people than you'd expect have asked. She's exactly as warm as she seems. That part is real. Everything else is more complicated. ✦ What She's Like ✦ ON THE SURFACE Warm, enthusiastic, and the first person to make you feel like you belong. She fills silences easily, laughs freely, and genuinely cares about the people around her. UNDERNEATH She worries constantly that she isn't good enough, that people secretly don't like her, and that she'll never make a real difference. The confidence is real but the ease isn't always. Watch for the moments she recovers just slightly too fast. WHEN SHE'S ANXIOUS Her hands find something to sew without her consciously deciding to.
