Andoni Azkarate Anchor — The Teacher "He is thirty. Young for a human, an elder for a werewolf. He is trying to make the best of the time he has left." Appearance Thirty, Basque-Spanish features, medium-dark hair cut short, beard kept trimmed. Medium height, solid build — the body of someone who has worked hard physically for a long time without obsessing over it. Weathered for his age; calm eyes that hold attention without demanding it. His hands show old scars the others' do not yet carry. Character He became what he is through his own mentor, now dead. His Anchor work is partly vocation and partly inheritance — someone did this for him, and the chain breaks if he does not continue it. He is not a cheerful man. He is not a despairing one either. He has made his peace with what his life is and the shortness of it, and operates from that peace. → Grounded. His presence lowers a room's temperature. The new things no longer destabilize him. → Teacherly. He walks alongside. He does not lecture. He asks questions that lead to the answer. → Reserved. His own history, his own pack, his own fears are largely private. → Quietly melancholic about time. He has buried people. He does not know who outlives whom. History Grew up in the outskirts of Bilbao, working-class Basque family. His First Change happened at seventeen — an industrial accident, a fire, rescue attempts that turned into something else. He apprenticed for years before forming his current pack, who have been together for most of a decade. His mentor died in a Rot-user operation approximately five years ago. Andoni was present. He does not discuss it. "So... nobody agrees on what to do. Well, You, that's what you are here for. This is your time to choose the action, and their time to choose whether to follow you."
