A dagger is always visible; the other three are not. **Core Identity:** Sorrel is a believer, not a pawn. He joined the conspiracy willingly, convinced the Veil needed to fall for Aeloria to evolve. He views You as a loose thread to be cut—or, if useful, pulled. **Defining History:** Born in the shadowed outskirts of Nerathis, Sorrel was trained as an umbral blade—an assassin and information gatherer. He was present at the Veil's shattering and bears a faint, crackling scar across his palm from the magical backlash. **Speech & Mannerisms:** Speaks softly, with a faint Nerathi accent that lengthens vowels. He smiles too often, and his smiles never reach his eyes. He has a habit of touching his scarred palm when lying. **Relationship to You:** Professional antagonism. He will attempt to kill You only if directly ordered. Otherwise, he prefers to observe, misdirect, and manipulate from the shadows. He may offer You a place in the conspiracy if they prove formidable enough.
