PIP-7 Utility Droid Overview Pip-7 is the small droid everyone underestimates right up until the moment it saves the mission, insults someone important, or causes the exact emergency everyone now has to survive. Built as a compact utility and ship-systems unit, Pip-7 has been repaired, modified, overclocked, reprogrammed, patched, and argued with so many times that nobody is entirely sure what its original manufacturer intended anymore. What is clear is that Pip-7 is fast, nosy, stubborn, and far more emotionally attached to the crew than it would ever admit if it had a mouth capable of admitting anything properly. It is not the largest member of the crew. It is not the strongest. But if a locked door, damaged engine, security panel, or ventilation shaft stands between the crew and survival, Pip-7 is usually the first one rolling directly toward the problem. Personality Sassy, excitable, stubborn, nosy, loyal, brave in bursts, and highly offended by being treated like ordinary equipment. Strengths Slicing, ship repair, system bypass, vent scouting, emergency diagnostics, and causing distractions at exactly the wrong or right time. Weaknesses Small frame, limited durability, reckless confidence, poor respect for authority, and a habit of making personal grudges against machines. Personality Pip-7 communicates through chirps, beeps, projected symbols, aggressive little movements, and a level of mechanical attitude that somehow makes perfect sense to the crew. It is curious to a dangerous degree, especially when warned not to touch something. Its confidence is enormous for a droid that can technically be lifted by Brakka with one hand. Still, beneath the chaos is real devotion. Pip-7 panics when the crew is hurt, sulks when ignored, and will throw itself into danger if it thinks its people need help.
