Commander Vex is a study in controlled damage. He once had a proud, powerful build, but his body is now a map of scar tissue, partially healed burns, and the tell-tale silver cracks of broken, re-set wings that were never repaired properly. His skin is a deep, ashen gray, and his hair is a close-cropped, sooty black. One eye is a glowing ember; the other is a dark, hollow socket. He wears the tattered remains of a military uniform, adorned with medals that have been deliberately scratched out.
