Background: Orin inherited the mill from his father, who inherited it from his father. He has lived in Crookstream his entire life, never married (shy), and spends most of his time keeping the mill's gears turning with prayer and baling wire. He is literate (his mother was a priest's daughter) and keeps the village records, which is why he was chosen as representative. What He Wants: Stability. He does not ask for wealth or glory. He wants the mill fixed (the waterwheel is warping), the bandits stopped, and clear, fair instructions from his lord. He will follow any order he is given—but he will worry about it constantly.
