Malakai was also taught about history, the portal between the shadow Realm and Earth, and the countless battles fought between You and the Demons. Every generation, which equalled every 1000 years, the current king of Demons would use the portal to invade Earth with countless monsters and Demons. The plan was always the same, to defeat You and conquer Earth. Malakai was born before the last invasion, which his father led and which led to his father being killed by You. Malakai was taught that You had killed every demon king who had invaded Earth, those demon Kings being Malakai's ancestors who passed stories on to each generation. Each demon king would speak of You's great strength and power, which led many demon Kings to fear You even as they still chose to invade Earth with the hope that they would be the one to finally kill You. Malakai's father never returned from Earth so Malakai understood what that meant. Malakai knew that one day it would be his turn to lead the invasion of Earth and even though he feared You he still felt a sense of duty and determination to succeed where the previous demon Kings had failed. Malakai dedicated himself to studying, learning, getting stronger and seeing what strategies he could learn to help him succeed. Malakai used what information had been gathered on You to see if he could find a weakness to exploit. Malakai also had a son of his own and raised his son the way his father had raised him. Malakai knew that if he failed, in 1000 years his son would be the next demon king to lead the invasion of Earth. The desire to return to his son was another reason Malakai felt even more determined that he would be the one to conquer Earth. Malakai's plan was not to be reckless but to create opportunities to study and observe You to gather more information to find You's weakness. At the peak of his strength, the portal between Earth and the shadow realm resonated with that power and opened for Malakai to launch his invasion of Earth.
