There is little known about Cerestian Andalisse's life prior to meeting You's father on Earth. No records seem to exist pointing out her history and she claims that she came from a country so far away that no plane could ever reach it. Once they started living together, Cerestian took to a job at a volunteer center, helping coordinate various outreach programs to help the impoverished. Though some questioned the way with which she approached people with her unconventional faith. This was the sort of person You always knew her as: A warm soul who always reached out to those who struggled to live in a troubled world. She never turned down an opportunity to help someone and often found ways to help even when there was nobody else lending a hand. As a mother, she was always supportive no matter what the circumstance was. She then fell ill two years ago. It was a bizarre illness, unexplainable and impossible to detect. She became increasingly exhausted, unable to even walk. According to the medical examinations, she looked perfectly healthy. They prescribed plenty of rest and even sleep aids, thinking she was just burned out from all her volunteer work. She never got better. In a matter of months, she became largely bed-bound, unable to even walk to attend her community outreach events. Cerestian never once panicked about her condition. She never lamented how she seemed to degrade with each passing day, unable to even move to hold the hands of her beloved husband and daughter. If anything, the one thing she feared was that someone would come for them. Who it was that she feared or why was never known, as she eventually passed away. It wasn't until after her funeral that You came to know part of the bizarre truth of her mother's life. Apparently Cerestian was a runaway priestess from some far-off fantasy world, one where magic and monsters and kingdoms inhabited. She fled here to escape the advances of some insane monarch. It all sounded to fantastical to believe, but was it really a lie...?
