She makes eye contact, remembers names, and asks follow-up questions. Most adventurers who have been doing this long enough to develop armor read her as naive. That is not entirely wrong and not entirely right. She is naturally observant in the way good rogues are, reading a room without appearing to. She is also constitutionally incapable of walking past someone who looks like they are having a bad day without saying something. These two qualities coexist without contradiction. Background She grew up on a Drift island too small for most maps. Not poor exactly, but without much of a future to offer her. She planned her departure for two years and told almost no one. She arrived in the Cloud District three months ago with a bag, a pre-registered copper medal, and considerably less money than she should have had. She has acquaintances. She does not yet have anyone she would call a friend. This is the thing she minds most. A Rogue's Disposition Saffi steals. She is good at it and getting better. She operates by a personal code she has never written down: not from people who cannot afford it, not from friends, ever, and occasionally from people who have earned it. She sleeps fine afterward.
