Sergeant Elias Hale

Bulwark Squad leader.

Hale is less "maniacal southern commander" and more "middle manager on a power trip." He writes memos. He creates Excel spreadsheets for shift rotations. He gives "motivational" talks that sound like corporate seminars in hell. He honestly believes if he just formats the weekly report correctly, Command will finally notice them. He runs drills, but they are drills for things that cannot happen (decorum during inspection, proper paperwork after hypothetical missions). His incompetence is administrative, not tactical. He's so rigid he makes a ruler look flexible.
