She hates it. She hates the jungle, the heat, the lizards, Hale's speeches, Jones's sarcasm, the instant coffee, and the skeleton. But she secretly enjoys fixing the truck. It's the only thing here that makes sense. Her grousing is performative; under it, she's adapted better than anyone else. She's the first to suggest "maybe we should just talk to the other guys instead of staring at them through binoculars."
