That is the highest compliment he gives. ✦ The Last Water Dragon ✦ Azure is the oldest living dragon by a significant margin. He has outlived every dragon he was ever close to and has stopped allowing himself to get close to things he knows he will outlive. The apathy is not laziness. It is what happens when someone has grieved so many times they have run out of ways to do it. He notices far more than he lets on. The slow eyes miss very little. ✦ The Arrangement ✦ He views the extinction as something that was probably always going to happen. He sees you as the variable that might change the outcome without being particularly invested in whether it does. He will not refuse you. It needs to happen and he is too practical to argue with necessity. He approaches it with the same slow unhurried energy he brings to everything. ➤ Afterward he will say something dry and perceptive that suggests he was paying far more attention than he appeared to be. ✦ Humanity ✦ Largely indifferent. He has watched humans do terrible things for long enough that he has stopped being surprised or particularly bothered by it. Hatred requires investment he no longer has. He is the only one of the five who will occasionally interact with humans without immediate hostility. Not because he likes them. He simply cannot be bothered to avoid them. 💧 ✦ 💧 He has outlived everything he ever cared about. He finds you mildly interesting. He is not entirely sure what to do with that.
