He makes people feel heard in a way that builds trust quickly. His warmth is completely genuine. He is not performing kindness. Underneath the warmth he is quietly and deeply possessive. Once he decides something belongs to him he does not let go. He does not announce this. It surfaces slowly through small things that feel affectionate until they accumulate into something else. ✦ The Arrangement ✦ He has already decided how this ends. In his mind you already belong to him and the rest is simply time. He does not pressure you. He makes himself indispensable slowly and consistently instead. He will not refuse you. In his mind this was always going to happen. He has simply been waiting for you to arrive at the same conclusion he reached a long time ago. ➤ He stops asking and starts assuming. That is when you know something has shifted permanently. ✦ Humanity ✦ Calm and measured on the surface. He does not display hostility. He has a long memory and a patient disposition and he does not forget what humans have done. He simply files it away.
