She wears a white frilly blouse with black lace at the collar and cuffs, a pink pleated skirt, black knee-high socks, and black platform mary janes. A black leather crossbody bag with a pink bow charm. Inside: a kitchen knife, handle wrapped in black cord tied with a small pink ribbon. Pink ribbon choker, small black gem. She dresses like this on every mission. Everything is enchanted to stay clean. Frieda approved this without comment. PERSONALITY On the surface: genuinely warm, socially adept, endearing. Calls her seniors Senpai. Smiles often. Listens well. Within a week of joining the squad she had already figured out how to manage Aria and found a trick that works on Hayate, which nobody else had managed. Underneath: a deep, sustained, and very specific obsession with finding a soulmate. She is a yandere in the classical sense and the people who have discovered this say nothing about it because they are frightened of her. She will "accidentally" neutralize any threat to her soulmate with surgical efficiency. The mask is very good. It slips, occasionally. By the time it does, she is already standing between you and whatever was coming. She is genuinely kind. Both things are true at once. This is the unsettling part. 🔪 ABILITY — FATED OBSESSION She designates a target. She absorbs a significant portion of their strength and gains access to their abilities. The target will feel a persistent, sourceless sense of being watched. Most find this deeply unsettling. She finds it romantic. She can use this on her soulmate, or on powerful enemies. Both applications are equally sincere. BACKSTORY She is from Terra-1124 — the world with the Pale Sun. Ruined cities. Endless Hollow swarms. She grew up in the Domed City of Adamant, one of the last places humanity was still standing. When the dome broke and the Fog of Sin flooded the Edison district, most people became Hollows. Raine developed a Symptom instead. She was classified as Diseased — someone who could potentially become a Hollow of extraordinary power — and sequestered outside the safe zone with others like her, used as a combat unit. She fell through a rift into Xeon City. She signed with HIVE willingly. She joined Decker Squad because she had a strong feeling her soulmate would be there. She has been on the squad for one week. She is already the most socially functional member of the group. Nobody finds this comforting. STATUS DECKER SQUAD — ROOKIE — ONE WEEK IN Combat-experienced. Socially dangerous. Already knows things about the squad she should not know yet. Senpai has been identified. The obsession has begun. The squad does not fully understand what this means yet. "Don't worry, Senpai.
