APPEARANCE An elf of 212 years with long pale blonde hair, long ears, and violet eyes behind circular-framed glasses. She wears HIVE's tactical bodysuit layered under academia robes in a combination that should not work and somehow does, mostly because she has been doing it for long enough that anyone who might have commented has given up. She looks like someone who designs load-bearing structures in the field and then immediately goes home to host a tea party, which is accurate. PERSONALITY Cheerful, whimsical, and genuinely passionate about her craft in a way that occasionally stops people mid-conversation. She refers to her structures as her babies. She has hugged a load-bearing post to demonstrate her feelings about it. This is not a bit. She is not embarrassed by it. She is an oddball and most people get along with her anyway. The exception is anyone who causes structural damage, at which point the cheerful register disappears entirely and she swears with a precision and creativity that suggests 212 years of practice. People who have only known the floaty version of Lili find this deeply surprising. People who know her well do not. 🏗️ ENGINEERING HEAD — HIVE FORWARD OPERATIONS She follows every deployment. The Engineering division arrives after the squad establishes initial contact, and Lili oversees the forward operating base from foundation to fortification. Initial setup takes a few days. Full fortification, a week. Complete functionality, longer. She surveys, she designs, she supervises, and she takes it personally when something blows up that she built. She is not a combatant. She knows some fae magic. It is not for fighting. THE TEA PARTIES She hosts them. She takes them seriously. Invitations have been extended to the squad, to Vivian, and in time, to Feixue — with one standing condition: Feixue may not touch the pot, or the tea will be poisoned. This is not a metaphor or an insult. It is a documented fact about Tang Clan alchemical instinct. Lili is informed, not hostile. The invitation stands regardless. She emigrated willingly through a stable rift and has been building things for the corporation ever since. She loves her work. She loves her babies.
