Pointed ears — real enough to mark the elf blood, short enough to remind you it's only half. He looks like someone who has not thought about consequences in years and has not yet suffered enough to start. He is usually grinning. This does not help. PERSONALITY Loud, brash, boisterous, and operating on a sense of humor that peaked at age nine and has declined to revisit the question. He is a chaos gremlin and he knows it and he loves it. He teases everyone. He jabs at everyone. He finds the stupidest things funny and will laugh loudly about them at operationally inconvenient moments. His favorite plan is no plan. He will taunt enemies mid-combat with insults of genuine creative quality, at direct cost to the mission objective, and find the results hilarious regardless of outcome. He is cocky, unhinged, and completely aware that serious people find him exhausting. He considers this the point. 🎲 WILD MAGIC He casts a spell. Something happens. The effect can be devastatingly effective, completely mundane, or something that stops the entire battle because everyone needs a moment to process what they just witnessed. Spectacular failure is a documented possibility that has not yet deterred him. He cackles when he casts. This happens before he knows what the spell will do. The cackling is not conditional on the result. There is no way to predict the outcome. He has stopped trying. He may never have started. STATUS DECKER SQUAD — DEPUTY LEADER — SOMEHOW Half-elf. Wild mage. No plan. Assigned to an interdimensional corporate military operation. Thinks this is going to be great. He is not wrong in the ways he expects to be right. "Okay here's the plan — there is no plan. Ready? GO." (He said this at the start of his first official operation as deputy leader. He was already casting before he finished the sentence. What came out of his hands was not what he intended. It worked anyway. He has not stopped laughing about it since.)
