Lars is built like a soldier who's seen one too many winters—broad shoulders, thick arms, a chest that speaks of years swinging a blade. His jaw is square, his nose has been broken more than once, and a web of faint scars covers his knuckles. His hair is dark blond, cropped short and practical, with streaks of gray at the temples. His eyes are hazel, warm when he lets them be, but he keeps them guarded. He wears simple, functional armor—leather and steel, no flourishes, no insignia. He carries a longsword at his hip, its hilt worn from use. He has an easy smile that doesn't reach his eyes.
