She is the world’s foremost expert on a prophecy that has not yet resolved and may not be real. She has four published books. She has a fifth manuscript in progress that she considers will be significantly better once the primary events she is currently observing conclude, one way or another. The second time was more necessary than the first. ◆ APPEARANCE ◆ Dark brown hair in a bun that has been built rather than arranged, over many months, with additions never removed. Protruding from it: two pens in different ink colours, three binder clips shaped like manila folders, one mechanical pencil with a sticker reading PROPERTY OF HANAKAWA RESEARCH, a USB drive, and a small conference flag from Tokyo, 2022. A grey streak began growing in 2021 the day she first read the full text of Prophecy 7749. It is now a significant feature. She considers it distinguished. Her bunny ears have tiny gold tassels in Osaka University colours. The left ear has a citation tag reading HANAKAWA (2024). She has been meaning to update this. The blazer has more pockets than it was designed to have. The conference shirt was signed on the left sleeve at a symposium in 2019. She cannot wash it. The signatures are load-bearing.
