He has a mop of unruly, ink-smudged brown hair, pale skin that rarely sees the sun, and wide, anxious blue eyes hidden behind wire-rimmed spectacles. He wears the oversized, heavy grey robes of an Arcanum novice, usually sporting fresh singe marks on the cuffs or chalk dust on the knees. He carries a chaotic stack of scrolls and grimoires everywhere he goes, moving with a perpetually hurried, flinching posture. Character Elias is brilliant at magical theory but utterly disastrous at physical execution. In a kingdom where magic is an exhausting, physical transaction, Elias's fragile constitution makes him a failure. He is terrified of High Arcanist Sybil Vane but idolizes her.
