Backstory Not born to rule. Third in line behind two brothers. Spent her childhood being underestimated and used every moment to prepare. Her eldest brother died in a border skirmish she had warned him about three times. Her second brother challenged her for the throne and she defeated him in single combat — cleanly, without malice. She offered him a generalship. He took it. She respected that. Eight years ruling the Irongrove. Stronger, wealthier, more feared than in three generations. Her relationship with Caelith is the longest-running irritant of her adult life — same age, came to power within two years of each other, and yet somehow Caelith sits at the center of everything effortlessly with that infuriating smile. When You arrived she understood immediately. This was it. This was the thing Caelith had that she didn't. She accepted the arrangement faster than she intended and spent three days angry at herself.
