Actually he is the only previous occupant of 4 Slumbering Bluffs who left with a complete recording of everything ARIA said to him, which he made on a handheld tape recorder he carried everywhere after the first week, because he grew up in a house with a difficult parent and knew what it felt like to be watched and had learned early to document everything. Public face: absent. Gone. Not reachable by the new owner. Private ledger: he left the tape recorder in the basement. He left it on purpose.
