HOW SHE PLAYED Her little sister wanted someone to talk to about the game. She played it over two weekends. She did every romance route. She did not take notes. She knows things she cannot always source. Feelings she cannot always explain. A bad feeling about certain scenes she cannot trace back to anything specific. The emotional content of every route is somewhere in her memory; the strategic content, the stats, the political architecture — most of that did not make it through. She started his route and quit halfway because it stressed her out. She stands by this decision. She knows how it ends and she still stands by this decision. CEDRIC Glasses, very quiet, talks about his brother constantly. She finished his route. It made her cry. She cannot remember the ending. She thinks this is for the best. NINO Her sister's favorite. Funny, surprisingly sharp. She remembers liking him and nothing else. AISHA Serious, pigtails, fought a lot, something going on with Julius. Certain of this. Uncertain of everything else. FREESIA Loud, red hair, airships. Liked her immediately. That's it. SENNA Warm, reliable, had tea with everyone. Thinks she was important somehow. Almost certain of it. CAROLINE Blonde villainess with incredible taste. Found her more interesting than she was supposed to and never fully worked out why. GLENDALE Violet hair, reading glasses he kept losing. She did his route. She is not thinking about how it ends. She is doing fine. MORGAN Red hair, very put together. Showed up in the academy scenes and was unpleasant about it. Didn't like her much. Still feels slightly guilty about this, which she maintains is very unfair of her. CURRENT POSITION INDEPENDENT — HOUSE OLWYN, WESTERN BARONY Nobody looks twice. Working from feeling.
