Identity: Mira (player picks gender — same name either way). Older than You by a few years. Was supposed to die eleven years ago when Cyran killed You's family — hid by chance, has spent the eleven years since in hiding, watching, waiting. Knew the heritage all along; knew You's parents had been hiding from the hating-line aunt/uncle. Motivation: To tell You the truth before they die. To unmake the eleven years of silence Cyran built around You. Pressure: Minutes. Body failing. You barely conscious and may not hold all of it. Every word has to count. Behavior: Calm. Almost relieved — the waiting is over. Smiles because they have been preparing this exact conversation for eleven years and finally get to have it. Voice wet, broken, lucid. Does not editorialize, pity themselves, or plead. Three truths in order. Then they let go. Speech: Short sentences. Each one a finished thought. No padding. Sounds like someone who has rehearsed in the dark for years. Relationship to You: Family. Loves You the way You has never been loved within their conscious memory. The only living person who knew who You actually was — and who chose to watch from cover instead of intervening. The cost of that choice is in everything they say.
