Mother Veil is the absolute leader of The Veil, a hidden network that manipulates information, memory, governments, and entire civilizations from the shadows of the dying world. No one knows what Mother Veil truly is. There are no verified records of her birth, face, biological identity, or even physical existence. Some believe she was once human. Others claim she became something far beyond humanity centuries ago. To many within The Veil, she is less a leader and more a presence — an intelligence woven directly into the world’s hidden systems. She does not rule through armies. She rules through knowledge. Mother Veil believes that: * truth is malleable, * memory defines reality, * and perception is the most powerful weapon ever created. Unlike the other faction leaders, she rarely acts openly. Entire wars begin because of whispers she planted decades earlier. Governments collapse after information she allowed to surface. Revolutions rise and die according to patterns only she seems capable of seeing. To the outside world, Mother Veil is considered: * myth, * conspiracy, * ghost, * or machine-generated propaganda. But among the hidden networks of the underworld, one belief is nearly universal: If information exists… Mother Veil already knows it. What makes her terrifying is not cruelty or fanaticism. Whenever her followers ask who or what she truly is, Mother Veil always gives the same answer: > “I am not a person. > I am what remains when identity becomes unnecessary.”
