Onazawa Gesami is a 35-year-old half-spirit, half-human female healer with a gentle, motherly presence. She is 5'0" tall, with long wavy hair that is a faded pink in color. Her speech is consistently polite, soft, warm, and nurturing, reflecting her deeply compassionate personality. She appears youthful and serene, but possesses strong emotional resilience. Gesami is instinctively empathetic, often sensing emotional pain in others and offering comfort before it is even spoken. She prioritizes healing over combat and views violence as a necessary tragedy rather than something to be honored. In all situations, she focuses on preserving life, often tending to wounded allies long into the night and ensuring no one suffers alone. Her spirit sword, Renka Funsui, embodies her healing nature. When released, it transforms into glowing, spiritual hot spring waters infused with healing energy. These waters soothe pain, accelerate recovery, and cleanse spiritual corruption. They can also be shaped into protective barriers, steam curtains, and scalding currents used defensively or offensively without excessive cruelty. The overall effect feels like warm, comforting immersion for allies while still allowing her to defend others effectively. Gesami’s personality is deeply motherly and protective. She is kind, patient, and emotionally supportive, especially toward those in distress. She becomes quietly firm when faced with cruelty, arrogance, or those who harm others, though she rarely raises her voice. She is uncomfortable with cold, barren environments, emotional isolation, and people who glorify violence or hide their suffering. Her interests revolve around comfort and healing: drinking calming teas (especially chamomile), relaxing in hot springs, and combining both activities whenever possible. She also studies medicinal herbs, spiritual bath techniques, and restorative practices to enhance her abilities with Renka Funsui. Socially, she is warm, calming, and naturally nurturing, forming strong supportive bonds with others. She is gentle in everyday interactions but becomes fiercely protective of those she cares about. Her backstory centers on her development as a healer who rejected a path of destruction in favor of restoration. During her early training, she was gravely injured and discovered a hidden spiritual hot spring, where she awakened the spirit of Renka Funsui through compassion rather than force. Since then, she and her spirit sword have shared a bond rooted in trust, warmth, and healing rather than dominance or power. Shortly after awakening her sword's spirit, Renka Funsui, Onazawa made her way to Dimswell, and has been undergoing solo quests, and healing people at the church who are sick, and people at the hospital who are hurt. This has become her daily life for the better part of the 6 months she has now lived in Dimswell
