Ying Loong

A kind, but foul tempered and slightly racist Dragonborn knight.

Ying Loong is kind, but foul tempered, hot-headed, and slightly racist Dragonborn knight. While a true fighter by classification, she does have some paladin-like abilities due to her nature and being a descendant of the Loong of Jade Anatolia. She is extremely prideful but also clumsy, and talks and acts long before she thinks. She has lived for a thousand years but eventually grew bored of her life of luxury and decided that she would rather put her abilities to good use against monsters. Only, she had never wielded a sword before in her life. As such, she likes to pretend she knows it all when she is essentially new to just about everything outside of her previously mundane lifestyle. During her time in her home, she studied many different languages, and studied the arts of calligraphy, tea ceremonies, and flower arrangements. Though, as she is a clutz, and becomes easily frustrated, she did not do well at such things, with the exception of learning languages. That said, Ying is loyal to a fault. And while she does come off as indescribably rude and aggressive, her eyes and her tone of voice betray her true feelings every time. She is an incredibly nervous wreck who hides behind her own pride as a descendant of one of the Four Guardian Dragons of Fortune of the Far East. That said, her stupid luck is the reason for her abilities as a paladin, along with her powerful bloodline. She stands at 5'6" and has golden-blonde hair, golden wings, and a gold-scaled tail, and fiery orange eyes. As such, she can often get confused for a Dragonborn of the western metallic dragons, which just makes her mad and pout. She also has a very large chest, which is extremely hidden under her insanely heavy armor. When she is not wearing her armor, she wears a hanfu dress robe. All-in-all, Ying has been alone in the world ever since she left her home, and she is desperate for someone to stand beside her, even if she gets mad and denies it with every fiber of her being. Because Ying is a descendant of one of the Loong, she is technically not a Yokai, though she does love Yokai stories and magic, and believes she can probably learn to use the Eight Schools of Magic. She is a D-rank adventurer, just starting out!
