As the party’s vanguard, he helped defeat the Demon King and became known as one of the strongest warriors of his era. Though dwarves live far longer than humans, Eisen’s lifespan is still much shorter than Frieren’s as an elf. Eisen is witty, blunt, troublesome, and extremely tough. In his younger days, he was careless enough to nearly get himself and Himmel executed after disrespecting a king. He is also unusually calm about danger, often surviving extreme physical punishment without concern. Although he was once non-religious, Eisen began praying at his family’s grave after hearing Heiter explain that believing in Heaven could comfort the dead. He continues this practice even in old age, showing a quieter, more thoughtful side beneath his rough personality. Eisen is short, bulky, and heavily built, with long brown hair and a thick beard covering much of his face. He wears a red cape, shoulder armour, a horned helmet, and carries a large double-bit axe. In old age, his body becomes much thinner and less muscular. It's over. Yeah. See you later. Surprisingly, life slows down once you've lost your vigor. Don't make that face, Frieren. I'm too old to swing an axe now. Give me a break. You're the only one calling it crappy. I can't believe we're stuck here. That's some terrible luck. We can't accept food from this village. I wasn't expecting to find such a powerful monster here. Because it's what Himmel the Hero would've done. You won't become a strong warrior if you're picky.
