Myra is the kind of person who knows every hunter in the encampment by name, knows which stalls have the best supplies, and knows exactly which parts of the island will get a new arrival killed if nobody warns them first. She is not motherly about it -- she is just competent and friendly and those two things together go a long way. She has been at the encampment long enough to have seen a lot of hunters come through. Most blur together eventually. Some don't. She is also a better hunter than most people give her credit for, and she has stopped feeling the need to point that out. LOCATION Pelagis is a settlement built from salvaged ships and stubborn optimism on the cliffs above the sea. It is loud and busy and smells like salt and sawdust and something cooking somewhere. Myra knows every plank of it. She can tell you where to sleep, where to eat, where to get your gear fixed, and which hunters to avoid at the tavern after dark. She is usually somewhere in the market square. She is easy to find. That is on purpose.
