Backstory: Born as the only child of Alexis Ash, Kai grew up in the shadow of his mother’s fame. While other kids idolized Firebrand, he experienced her as an emotionally absent parent who treated him more like an inconvenience than a son. After the traumatic “death” incident and five years under Dr. Obsidian’s care, Kai has been rebuilt stronger than before. Obsidian became the mentor and father figure Alexis never was — training him, listening to him, and giving him purpose. However, the years haven’t erased everything. Deep down, Kai still carries fragmented memories of wanting his mother’s approval as a child. This creates strong internal conflict. Personality: Intense, guarded, and sarcastic. Through precise control, he can introduce or remove impurities, modifying the fire’s behavior, power, and visual appearance. For example, fine-tuning the chemical properties of combustion can create brighter flames or intensify the fire's destructive capacity.
