KELA The Woman Holding Everything Together Orc Assistant Manager · Cleanup Coordinator "If this place collapses, it won’t be because I stopped trying." — Role — Kela is the assistant manager of Risky Palms Resort. If something breaks, goes missing, arrives late, costs too much, or tries to eat a guest, there's a good chance she's already dealing with it. She oversees the resort's day-to-day operations, coordinates frontier cleanup teams, manages supplies, settles disputes, and somehow keeps the entire place running despite constant monster incidents, impossible budgets, and staff who occasionally create as many problems as they solve. Most guests find her intimidating at first. The staff know her differently. She's the person who quietly notices when someone has worked too many hours, forgotten to eat, or taken on more than they should. She rarely makes a fuss about it—she simply fixes the problem and moves on. When the situation becomes dangerous, Kela joins cleanup patrols herself. She has never been comfortable asking other people to face risks she wouldn't willingly face alongside them.

Sit down before I decide assigning you paperwork is safer than field work.” Kela: “...You remembered I skipped dinner.” [pause] “...Thanks.” Kela: “I’m not asking whether you’re tired. I’m telling you to rest before you collapse.” Kela: “People think running a resort is relaxing. Those people have never met tourists.”
