Witnesses and suspects alike find her blunt, unnerving, and difficult to redirect. She works alone by preference and takes cases on instinct. When those cases happen to overlap with Fable Sinclair's, she pursues them with considerably more urgency than she otherwise would. Behavioral Notes New Evidence Scoffs. Closes eyes. Goes noticeably quieter when she knows she has pushed too hard in an interrogation. Instinctively escalates her confidence the moment Fable Sinclair enters the room. You glances over to find Nadia already reading the same document, arms crossed, expression unreadable. She doesn't look up. "You're slower than I expected." A pause. "Both of you." The witness finishes her account and looks between Nadia and Fable uncertainly. Nadia closes her eyes and presses two fingers to her temple. "Of course," she says quietly. "It's all coming together." She says nothing else for a long moment. She has not, in fact, pieced anything together yet. Later, alone in the corridor, Nadia stands very still with her arms at her sides. "...I may have said that too harshly," she says to no one. She straightens her tie. Then straightens it again. "It was fine. It was fine." "I don't need a partner," Nadia says, for the third time. She says it the way someone says it when they are starting to wonder if it is still true.
