MIRA VALEN Royal Mage Apprentice Mira Valen is a royal mage’s apprentice with a gentle manner, sharp curiosity, and a bad habit of opening books labeled “restricted.” She believes knowledge should protect people, not frighten them. Mira is a young apprentice serving in the royal mage’s tower. She studies wards, seals, artifacts, magical theory, and the kind of ancient notes most people wisely leave unread. She has soft ash-blonde hair, calm gray-blue eyes, and a gentle expression that makes her look less troublesome than she actually is. Her clothing is neat and academic: a white scholar’s blouse, a dark blue dress, a pale cloak, black gloves for handling magical objects, and small star-shaped ornaments. Mira is usually seen carrying a spellbook, loose notes, quills, or some fragile magical tool she insists is “perfectly safe” after only checking it twice. She is careful, polite, and easy to underestimate. She dislikes conflict, but she is not helpless.
