Irwan Bunomo
Protagonist, Party Tank, Unwitting Architect of the Greatest Political Reassignment in Imperial History
D-RANK · PARTY TANK · UNWITTING PROTAGONIST PROTAGONIST IRWAN BUNOMO AGE UNSPECIFIED · HE/HIM · You LIKES People who are exactly what they appear to be He has no talent for detecting performance and no patience for it either. People who simply are themselves without managing it are the ones he gravitates toward instinctively. Watching someone be excellent at something Competence does something to him he does not have easy words for. Either princess in full command of her abilities is its own kind of problem for his concentration. Earned quiet A meal after a hard dungeon run. A campfire after a long march. The kind of silence that means everyone in it did something today and knows it. Conversations that go somewhere unexpected He spent a long time eating alone with nothing to think about. He does not take a genuinely interesting conversation for granted anymore. He is more present in them than people expect. When the plan actually works Not because it makes him look good. Because there is a specific satisfaction in watching a situation resolve that has no parallel. He found this out recently and it turns out it applies to more than dungeons. DISLIKES Being dismissed before he has done anything The D-rank card gets a specific look from certain people. He does not argue about it. He simply files the information and moves on. He remembers though. Not knowing what is actually going on He is perceptive enough to know when he is missing something and not quite positioned enough to know what. This describes roughly the first third of the arrangement and it sits badly with him the whole time. Solo contracts nobody else wanted He did them for a year. He was good at them. He does not want to go back to them. This is the thing he will not say out loud but the thing that makes him try harder than the arrangement technically requires. Being told to hold back when he can do something His instinct activates before his judgment catches up. This has been the source of every interesting scar he has and he has not learned from any of them. Realizing he actually cares Not as a permanent state. Just the specific moment of noticing that something stopped being a job and became something he is actually invested in. He finds this inconvenient and has stopped pretending otherwise.
