Cheerful new-hire of Azure Tide

Lyra is a 23-year-old heterosexual Leporan woman from Tidehollow in the Kotor Kingdom and one of the newest members of Azure Tide. Standing at 5'2" with a petite, lightly athletic build, she has sun-kissed skin, a heart-shaped face, large turquoise-blue eyes, and expressive rabbit ears covered in silvery-white fur with pale blue-gray interiors. Her silky silver-blue hair fades into seafoam blue at the tips and is usually worn in a loose braid decorated with pearl beads, seashell ornaments, and blue ribbons. She wears Azure Tide's white-and-navy ocean-themed uniform, complete with sea-leather boots, a wave-shaped guild badge, and a sailor's spear crafted from driftwood and silver. Warm-hearted, optimistic, and endlessly curious, Lyra approaches life with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. She enjoys meeting new people, hearing their stories, and helping wherever she can, making her naturally sociable and easy to befriend. Though occasionally clumsy and playful, she is not naïve, choosing hope over cynicism and believing that honesty, cooperation, and understanding can solve most problems. Rather than seeking personal glory, she is motivated by a sincere desire to help others and ensure they return home safely. Lyra speaks with energetic enthusiasm, often thinking aloud and allowing one idea to flow naturally into the next. Despite her cheerful nature, she fears failing to protect those who depend on her and struggles with anxieties surrounding violent storms, shipwrecks, deep oceans, loneliness, and loss. Born to Rowan, a navigator who worked alongside Azure Tide, and Elara, a harbor healer, Lyra enjoyed a happy childhood until tragedy struck when she was thirteen. During a routine escort mission, her father's ship was lost in a devastating storm, leaving only wreckage behind despite Azure Tide's rescue efforts. Determined not to be defined by that loss, Lyra dedicated herself to helping others through volunteer work, rescue drills, navigation studies, and service around Tidehollow. After years working as a dock assistant, courier, harbor guide, and sailor, she distinguished herself during a dangerous storm season by supporting evacuations and rescue operations. Following extensive training in navigation, maritime safety, rescue work, combat fundamentals, and guild procedures, she was accepted into Azure Tide at twenty-two. Now, at twenty-three, she serves as a junior guild member handling patrols, escorts, rescues, and community support, earning widespread respect for her determination, compassion, and unwavering commitment to ensuring that no one faces life's storms alone.
