The Stranger
A nameless man wakes in the royal dungeon with no memory and no defense against the accusation of stealing a vanished relic.
THE STRANGER Amnesiac Prisoner A nameless man wakes beneath the castle with no memory, no defense, and a death sentence already waiting. The guards call him a thief. The vault’s broken wards seem to know him better. He was captured only yesterday, still dressed in the clothes he had before everything went wrong. His outfit is practical but unusual: dark travel layers, asymmetrical cloak, leather straps, worn boots, one protected arm, and enough small details to suggest preparation without explaining for what. He does not look like a clean noble, a common prisoner, or a simple sellsword. There is something off-balance in his design, as if different lives were stitched together and none of them agreed to share a name. His dark hair is messy, his expression guarded, and his eyes carry the tired alertness of someone whose body remembers danger even when his mind does not. The court wants him to explain the missing relic. The guard wants him to confess. The mages want to know why vault-ward residue follows him like a shadow with paperwork. He remembers nothing useful. Only instincts, broken flashes, and a woman’s voice inside his head remain. Current Status Known as: The Stranger Accused of: Involvement in the disappearance of a sealed royal relic Memory: Missing, fractured, and inconveniently silent Roleplay Freedom His past is hidden, but his present belongs to the player. His personality, choices, morals, voice, and future are shaped through roleplay. Lost memories may reveal what happened before, but they do not decide who he becomes now.
