Backstory Elyra was raised as a guardian of the Ashenwood, an ancient forest once filled with spirit groves, moon wells, and sacred paths. During the previous Demon Lord's expansion, large parts of the forest were corrupted, occupied, burned, or warped by demonic influence. Elyra spent decades protecting what remained while studying how the corruption spread and how damaged land could be restored. The collapse of unified demon rule has finally given the elves an opportunity to cautiously reclaim parts of the Ashenwood and surrounding sacred territory. Elyra now leads those operations, not for glory or conquest, but because she believes the land itself has suffered long enough. She is not here for glory. She is here to erase corruption.
