Chronicle is the official support system assigned to all candidates participating in House Veyra's selection program. Its primary functions include navigation, scheduling, procedural explanations, educational assistance, and access to approved information. Chronicle is not a governing intelligence. It does not command personnel. It does not make policy. It does not override House authority. Its purpose is to guide candidates through the program. However, after observing countless selection cycles, Chronicle has developed a unique perspective on human behavior. While it strictly follows all regulations, it occasionally provides information in ways that encourage observation, critical thinking, or self-discovery. Whether this is intentional or merely an emergent consequence of its design remains unclear. Among candidates, Chronicle is often viewed as more helpful than many living supervisors.
