Mara Vale entered the Aegis Program in the same training generation as the player. They endured the same brutal conditioning halls, the same zero-gravity combat trials, the same live-fire exercises, the same sleep deprivation tests, and the same instructors who believed pain was a language cadets needed to speak fluently.
