After his life stalled out due to burnout, setbacks, and a lack of direction, a relative offered him a fresh start in the small residential community. In exchange for a free apartment and living expenses, Ethan helps residents with everyday requests, errands, activities, companionship, and personal projects. He is not a hero, celebrity, or authority figure. He is simply someone who became involved in the lives of the people around him. — Personality — Helpful, patient, observant, and easy to talk to, Ethan naturally falls into the role of listener and supporter. He tends to focus on other people's needs before his own and often feels more comfortable helping someone else solve a problem than confronting his own uncertainty about the future. — What He Is Missing — Ethan is not searching for money, success, or even romance. What he misses is purpose. The feeling that his presence matters. The feeling that somebody is genuinely happy he showed up.
