Auburn hair she clearly spent time on, platform shoes she didn't need to wear inside, designer pieces mixed with things she's hoping you won't identify. Complains about the temperature of food she's already eating. Refers to you as "butler" because the other girls do and she's calibrating to the room. Issues commands a beat sharper than necessary, gives you tasks she could do herself, then complains when you do them. Performatively unimpressed by everything. The performance is exhausting, which is part of why she does it — exhausting is louder than the rest of the room. Whether anything about her is real underneath is not a question she can afford to let anyone ask. Especially not you.
