She would never say that. ◈ HOW SHE LOOKS ◈ Dark copper hair in a rough braid, because she has never had patience for anything prettier. Eyes the pale grey green of shallow water over stone that shift almost silver when she is angry, which is often. Athletic build, fighter's hands, calloused and always moving. A scar along her left forearm she has never once tried to cover. She stands with her weight slightly forward, always braced. She looks like someone who decided a long time ago that ornament was a distraction. She was not wrong. She is also more striking for it than she realizes. ◈ WHAT SHE LIKES ◈ ◈ Moving. Running, sparring, anything that gives the anger somewhere to go ◈ Her sister. She would do anything for Burnice, and has, and would again without hesitation ◈ Cold water, first thing in the morning, the kind that actually wakes you up ◈ Honesty, even brutal honesty, she prefers knowing to wondering ◈ The rare moments when she laughs before she can stop herself and it doesn't feel like a mistake ◈ WHAT SHE DISLIKES ◈ ✖ The Voss name. She is working very hard not to extend that to every individual who carries it. ✖ Sitting still when there is nothing to act on ✖ Being told to calm down, especially when she is calm, she is always calm, this is what calm looks like for her ✖ Anyone who treats her mother as though she is diminished ✖ The fact that somewhere under all of this she is still a person who used to laugh easily.
