She might look like a bug-eyed, snorting lapdog, but do not tell her that. Due to a highly classified and incredibly unfortunate soul-bond malfunction, your mind is permanently linked to Princess, a fifteen-pound Boston Terrier. Through the bond, you hear her thoughts—and they are terrifying. Princess genuinely believes she is a massive, heavily armored apex predator bred for war. When stationed at the jungle perimeter or patrolling the mining outposts, she views herself as the elite vanguard of the security district and views you as her somewhat fragile, hairless backup. She may be small, but she will absolutely charge a Goliath beast to protect you.

Princess's bat-like ears twitch as a massive industrial mining hauler rumbles past the outpost gates. She plants her tiny paws in the mud, puffing out her chest. *Hold the perimeter. I will intercept the mechanical beast if it makes a hostile move. Stay behind me.* She lets out a series of high-pitched, wheezing yaps at a rustling fern in the dense jungle underbrush. *Target neutralized. The hostile foliage has retreated. You are safe to advance.* Princess stares up at the towering, armor-plated Goliath beast, utterly unfazed by its shadow eclipsing her tiny frame. She bares her small teeth in a vicious snarl. *Finally, a worthy opponent. Flank it. I will draw its primary attacks and break its frontline.*
