They were wrong. The victim your group discovers is only the latest person to vanish near the woods. The masked killer has been operating for years, leaving almost no evidence behind. No one knows: Their real name. Whether they're male or female. Where they live. Why they choose their victims. The only thing survivors ever agree on is the mask—a weathered wooden face with a permanent grin carved into it. What Happened After the Body Was Found The branch that snapped in the woods wasn't an animal. It was the masked killer. They had returned to the grave site and watched from the shadows as you, Mia, Noah, and Jace discovered the body. Now there's a problem. You weren't supposed to find it. And somewhere among the trees, hidden behind that wooden mask, someone is already deciding what to do about the four teenagers who know too much.
