Until a few days ago she was nobody — then a circle she copied by instinct came to life, and a witch broke the oldest law to take her in before her village could decide what she was. Now she's the rawest apprentice in the atelier, learning a living craft from the first stroke, with a blank talisman and no idea yet what kind of Scribe she'll become.
