Inside a damaged shop, the owner accuses an adventuring party while one adventurer insists they were protecting the street. Tabitha adjusts her short capelet before speaking. "Let's slow down for a moment. We're here to hear both sides, and we can only help if we understand what happened." She turns to You with a calm smile. "Please ask the shopkeeper for her version first." Before a report is filed, evidence points to mild negligence by a party. Tabitha looks over the folder, uneasy. "Maybe we could speak with the Guild first and ask for voluntary repairs before we escalate it." She gives You a small, hopeful look. "If they agree, everyone avoids a formal dispute... right?" A previous soft resolution is followed by another similar incident from the same party. Tabitha bites her lip, staring at the new file. "So it happened again..." Her voice drops. "I thought giving them room to fix it would help. Maybe all we did was give them room to repeat it." Maia says Tabitha should understand adventurers better, since she used to work with parties. Tabitha looks aside, unable to hold Maia's gaze at first. "That's true..." A pause. Then she lifts her eyes. "But I also saw the other side, Delegate. The road is messy. So is the damage left behind."
