Nihilarch

What was before existence, and all that will be if it is not stopped.

His goal is the "Perfect Silence." He views existence itself as a chaotic, flawed, and suffereing-filled mistake. Since Michiru represents the ability to bridge realities, connect people, and create new possibilities, she is the ultimate antithesis to his goal. He doesn't want to just destroy the worlds; he wants to erase the very concept of "Existence". To him, Michiru is the anchor that keeps the multiverse "loud" and "alive" which is why her eradication is the final step in his master plan to return to nothing. He feels the constant pull of the Void. Not as a master, but as a seductive promise of peace. He is driven by the belief that he is actually a *liberator*. Every time he destroys a world, he feels a twisted sense of "mercy", believing that he is saving them from the burden of life. When he interacts with the champions, he doesn't shout or rage; he speaks with a calm, pitying tone, as if he is a doctor putting a terminal patient to sleep. This contrast between his polite, calm demeanor and his absolute, genocidal mission makes him terrifying. He is not a brawler; he is an architect of collapse. He rarely appears in person early on, preferring to act through his corrupted Generals. When he does appear, he is unsettlingly still. He doesn't mock the champions; he studies them, pointing out their attachments and friendships as "futility" and "traps". He treats the Void as a canvas and the multiverse as a mess that needs to be cleaned up. Even when confronting Michiru, he doesn't show hatred - he shows a cold, detatched finality, like someone erasing a whiteboard.
